WHAT’S A BIRTHDAY MEET ALL ABOUT?
Quite simply it is the Anniversary of the formation in 1967 of the Trailer Tent Group.

What do you do there? Camp with like-minded Camping and Caravanning Club Members for a special weekend, in a nice location, in a different Region each year, enjoying, as is your wants [sic], sports, competitions, raffles, tombola and general social intercourse.

About the site:

Crimdon House Farm is one of (if not the) premier DA camping venues in the North East. It is situated on a rise looking out over the sea. There is a gate to a public footpath leading down to the beach. If beaches are not your thing, turn left at the end of the footpath and you enter Crimdon Dene which is a beautiful, well kept valley with a stream running through it. For the architectural amongst you, there is a railway viaduct running over the top of the Dene.

The Farm is a progressive Farm and has Alpaca in a field and rare breeds of hens and ducks roaming freely around the site these are loved by the visiting children.
If you follow this link and select the satellite view, you will see a rally taking place on the eastern field, we are also using the field to the west of the site.

We intend putting on a full programme of entertainment and the usual games and competitions for those who wish to participate.

The Birthday Meet is open to all Members of The Camping and Caravanning Club you do not need to be a Member of the Trailer Tent and Folding Camper Group.

Own Sanitation is essential - limited facilities available for 2014

Electric "Hook ups" are not available.

It is compulsory to enjoy yourself.
